Le
Meridien Bora Bora: "Romantic Hideway"
My husband and I spent
our Honeymoon the Le Meridian Bora Bora, and were immediately
taken back by the beautiful views, privacy and seclusion of the
hotel. Although the hotel was full, most of the time we felt like
we had the Motu all to ourselves. The rooms were very clean, well
maintained and decorated. We had one of the deep water bungalow
and loved our privacy and views. the glass floor fascinated us and
at night we had an unbelievable view of the stars.
The food prices are a bit expensive, but the entire island is
expensive, either way it didn't matter because everything else
makes it worth it.
We would not stay anywhere else, we saw all the other hotels on
the island and Le Meridien had the best location by far.
We Plan on returning.

Restaurants and Bars
Le Tipanie - the restaurant is unanimously renowned as one of the best
tables in Bora Bora. Overlooking the interior lagoon, it welcomes you in
an original setting. Dinner a la carte and several buffets on different
themes offered.
Le Te Ava - the restaurant is located beside the swimming pool, where
you can enjoy lunch with your feet in the sand, in a relaxed atmosphere.
In the evening it is possible to have a special menu in a relaxed
atmosphere. Miki Miki Bar - distinguished above all others by its architecture,
like the prow of a ship, pointing toward Mount Otemanu. It is definitely
the best place to savour a house cocktail while watching the overwhelming
beauty of the sunset across the lagoon, to the sound of a ukulele or
Polynesian ballad, played by our talented musicians.

Turtle Sanctuary -
Swim With Turtles
The
Turtle Sanctuary and the interior lagoon
Le Meridien Bora Bora has
an exceptional private lagoon, where you can discover three remarkable
sights - the sandbank of Platax, the channel of the turtles and the coral
garden.
More than 100 types of species can be observed: - fish with brilliant
colours, corals with strange forms and surprising shells.
Le Meridien Bora Bora
actively participates in the protection of these species. A special
program has been implemented to ensure the successful future of the
turtles in the ocean. In co-ordination with the Ministry and the
Delegation of the Environment, a team is devoted to the care and treatment
of the marine turtle. This care centre, situated in the heart of the
hotel, is unique in the world.
Every year, baby turtles are entrusted to this centre where they will be
assured sufficient growth for protection from future predators. The
juvenile turtles are typically carnivorous, and feed on tiny invertebrate,
plankton and fish-eggs. Adult turtles on the contrary are herbivorous.
Enjoy the opportunity to experience the turtles in their natural habitat
where you may observe their feeding and their care, with complete respect
of the environment and the ecosystem.
