Marriage License
Couples wishing to be married in the state of
Florida must obtain a license at any courthouse
within Florida.
No blood test or waiting period is required.
Proper identification is necessary, such as a
driver's license, certified copy of birth
certificate, or passport. If a previous marriage
ended in divorce within 90 days of your wedding
in Florida, or in the past year out of state, a
copy of the divorce decree is required.
Both bride and groom must be present to obtain
the license. The fee for the marriage license is
$88.50. Payment may be made in cash, or
traveler's checks, or by credit card or money
order. Personal checks are not accepted. Hours
are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30
p.m.ET, excluding holidays. |

The license will be issued at time of application and is
good immediately. It must be used within 60 days. Proof
of your valid marriage license is required prior to
hosting your wedding or vow renewal at the Walt Disney
WorldŽ Resort.
Note: All weddings performed on Castaway Cay require an
additional marriage license. Contact your Disney
Intimate Wedding Coordinator for details.
