Summer temperatures in Southern Alaska are in the mid-60’s--
perfect for a rainforest garden ceremony. A canopy of trees
shades the grounds of this 50-acre glacier garden park, and
under the canopy are ferns, lichen, and mosses growing around
sparkling ponds and bubbling streams. Your ceremony will take
place in the midst of it all, next to a cascading waterfall.
If you are feeling more adventurous, climb
in a helicopter for a flight to a glacier. You’ll land right on
the ice, and be married in one of the most beautiful and
pristine places on Earth! Exchange your vows at a spot that

Your Glacier wedding
adventure begins at the ship's gangway with a warm welcome by your
personal Royal Romance Wedding Coordinator who will escort you. First stop, the Juneau
Vital Statistics Office to obtain the marriage license. From there
it's a short twenty-minute drive to the airport where you will be
delivered directly to the door of your helicopter. It's then
"Up, Up and Away to an unforgettable adventure. Soar above
the majestic Alaskan wilderness and experience the breathtaking view of
the mountain below. Land on the surface of ancient living ice and
catch your breath as you prepare to exchange vows on top of Herbert
Glacier, the closest place to heaven on earth!
Your Glacier wedding adventure comes to a conclusion approximately
three hours after your departure from the ship. |

Please keep in
mind, the glacier is not handicap accessible and has a weight limit
for the helicopter. Couples must have a combined weight of no more
than 440 pounds. Please note that you
will need to board the helicopter in your wedding attire as changing
facilities are not available. The rainforest garden is used as back
up if the helicopter can not fly due to inclement weather. |

Guests For Juneau Glacier
Weddings
Juneau Glacier weddings are designed for the bridal couple only, however
guests may attend for an additional fee. This charge
includes round trip helicopter and limousine transportation. When
needed, the helicopter company will transport extra wedding guests to
the glacier in a second helicopter. Please contact Royal Romance
with any questions regarding booking additional guests. Note: all
passengers will be required to sign a waiver.

 Your
Rainforest Glacier Gardens wedding adventure begins at the ship's
gangway with a warm welcome by your personal Royal Romance wedding
coordinator who will escort you to your first stop, the Juneau Vital Statistics Office to obtain the marriage
license. Then, on to the Rain Forest Glacier Gardens through the
spectacular scenery of the Juneau area. Imagine your wedding ceremony
taking place in this beautiful, natural Alaskan setting. After
your cake and champagne, you will have approximately 45 minutes to
relax, have photos taken and explore these beautiful gardens nestled in
the habitat of the rainforest. When time comes to depart, your
taxi will be waiting for you at the entrance to the gardens
to whisk you back to your ship. This entire adventure will take
approximately two and a half hours. |

Enjoy the natural beauty of a Juneau
rainforest garden.
Your ceremony will be surrounded by the
natural sounds of waterfalls and the aroma of a blooming garden. The
garden is wheelchair accessible and does have rest rooms available
for you and your guests. It is recommend that you arrive at the
location in your wedding attire as changing facilities are not
readily available.

than four (4), an additional charge of $ 44.00 per person will
apply. This includes round trip transportation, entrance to the
gardens, cake and champagne. A time limit on the taxi does apply,
and no deviations from the route are permitted. Bridal couples
will be at the ceremony location for one hour and thirty minutes.
